Yes, please visit theoldgamefarm.com

THE PROPERTY - Is The Old Game Farm open to the public?

No. At this time, only guests staying at the Inn or at one of our Tentrr sites have access to explore the property.

THE PROPERTY - Are there still animals in the zoo?

The Catskill Game Farm closed its doors in 2006. The property is no longer an active zoo but rather is a place where guests can stay at and explore the abandoned areas of what was once America's largest private zoo. We recently added a few cows, goats and chickens but there is no longer an active zoo on the property.

ACCESS TO THE PARK & PROPERTY - Can we arrive before check-in time?

Yes! Feel free to explore the property before your check in time on the day of your arrival.

ACCESS TO THE PARK & PROPERTY - Will you have access to the Abandoned Zoo or connecting trails (RMBA Trails)?

Only guests staying on the property have access to explore the abandoned zoo as well as the connecting 25+ miles of maintained trails (for hiking as well as biking) at their leisure.  Learn more here (RMBA Trails)

PUBLIC TRANSIT ACCESS - Can you get here using public transit?

We have had people take Ubers/Lifts/Cabs from the Hudson Amtrak station to the property, but it is very difficult to get a ride back to the train station from The Old Game Farm.  We recommend taking your own car or renting a car to get to The Old Game Farm.
